A day in the life of a typical MWBC camper
The MWBC spiritual experience includes morning chapel, Bible classes, Campfire singing and talks, nightly Cabin devotionals, as well as spontaneous singing, prayer, and reflection time. The constant fellowship with Christian teachers, counselors, staff, and other campers inspires youth to discover joy and freedom in God's blessings.
A typical day also includes swimming/boating on the lake, softball, volleyball, tether ball, bocce ball, board games, and other fun activities like talent shows and banquets. The MWBC cooks are the best around! The food is nutritiously balanced and well prepared. Each week offers a great time in a wholesome, positive atmosphere.
Morning
An MWBC day begins when the bell rings. Campers wake up and shower. The morning consists of breakfast, camp clean-up time, an outdoor chapel and Bible class. Other activities may include a time to learn new songs, a fellowship time and/or a time for sports activities.
Afternoon
In the afternoon there are various activities offered. Usually we will have some group activities and then offer a craft/game time. There is also swimming and canoeing offered, along with hiking. Sports and games are also offered most afternoons, as well as prayer groups, one-on-one, and other uplifting occasions. And let's not forget canteen time!

After supper there are various evening social activities offered such as a talent show, broom hockey, "Capture the Flag", and skit night. The camp day ends with a campfire to worship and praise God, and a devotional thought to end the day. Campers get ready for bed, head back to their cabins, and end the night with a short cabin talk with their counselor. |
