Midwest Bible Camp Board of Directors 2023/2024
Planning and organization for Midwest Bible Camp is performed each year by its volunteer board of directors, elected annually by our Corporation Members. Board members are elected to three year terms and serve in an area such as food, finances, facilities, scheduling, staffing, promotions, fundraising or curriculum. No board member is asked to do it all. The board meets nearly monthly for seven or eight months, usually in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Marshalltown, Des Moines or Muscatine. Meetings generally begin at 10 AM and are complete by 2 or 3 PM. We share a working meal together while committees discuss their needs. It is a congenial and productive atmosphere with fellow Christians who begin their day with a devotional together.
Built into the rules and regulations of MWBC are plans to bring in new board members periodically. Some job changes and conditions also make it possible for others to step-up and serve. If you have questions about or are interested in serving on the MWBC board, please contact our Vice President.
